canta Español

Privacy Policy

This is short because the app does little: canta collects no personal data, sends nothing about you anywhere and has no servers of its own.

Last updated: 8 August 2026

Microphone

canta needs the microphone to work: it is a singing trainer, and its only purpose is to detect the pitch of your voice in real time so it can tell you whether the note is in tune.

About that audio:

The only things that survive the analysis are numbers — the detected pitch and the loudness — used in that instant to draw the screen and compute your score.

You can revoke the permission in your device settings at any time. Without it the app cannot hear you, so the exercises cannot be corrected.

What is stored, and where

canta stores the following only in your device's local storage:

This information never leaves your device. It is not synced, not backed up to our servers, and not tied to any identity: there are no accounts and no user identifiers.

What there isn't

External links

At the bottom of the "Your voice" tab the app links to naeku.io and ytrocket.com, both run by the same team that makes canta, for distributing and promoting music. Those two links are the only part of canta that reaches the internet, and the only promotion inside the app: they are never required, they unlock nothing, and they sell nothing inside canta. If you open them you leave canta, and those sites' own privacy policies apply. canta sends them no information about you when you do.

Children

canta collects no data from anyone, children included. It is suitable for all ages and has no social features, chat or user-generated content.

How to delete your data

Two ways, both immediate:

There is no need to write to us: since there are no servers and no copies, there is nothing for us to delete on our side.

Changes

If the app ever begins collecting any data, this policy will be updated before that change reaches a published version, and the date above will say so.
